The College of Engineering Pathanapuram was established in 2011 by the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), a Kerala Government Corporation. The school is located in Elikkatoor in the Kollam district of Kerala. It is situated in a tranquil atmosphere on a vast estate of 25 hectares, 7 km from Punalur and 8 km from Pathanapuram. 

College of Engineering Pathanapuram, Pathanamthitta Kerala was established in 2011 as a government educational institution to provide higher education for building a career in engineering.  Pathanapuram College of Engineering is accredited by the famous AICTE and affiliated with CUSAT, Kochi. Management College of Engineering Pathanapuram, Pathanamthitta works under the direction of Prof. Ananda Resmi (Director).

The library began operations in August 2011 and serves the needs of the institution's students, faculty, and staff. Computer center: 

The IT facility consists of 60 fully networked desktop computers supported by a 10Mbps internet facility provided by the NMEICT project MHRD Govt of India.  The data center also has a WLAN access service for students and employees. The control panel is efficiently powered by an inverted power supply system. 

Hostel configuration: 

A dormitory is available on the college campus to accommodate students. The college has a fully equipped dormitory on campus. The college has also approved male dormitories. 

Transportation: 

Six college buses operate for the convenience of students and staff. The University has regular bus services to and from Bharanicavu, Pathanapuram, Ayoor, Punalur, Kundara, and Kottarakara to the University Headquarters.PTA, College of Engineering, Pathanapuram operates university buses for staff and students. A fleet of university buses connects various university locations and transports students and staff.
