College of Pharmacy Roorkee is located on the banks of the Holy Ganges River. Because the Ganga River is flowing near the College of Pharmacy Roorkee with green lushes along its sides, students enjoy the classroom environment here that is nowhere to be seen in India. Funzone

Understanding the need and importance of the Internet in the field of education the CPR campus is well equipped with High-Speed Internet Connectivity and has a strong backbone of dedicated Optical fiber cable (OFC) links throughout the campus including the hostels so that the students can surf the Web, enhance their knowledge and use the e-information. The whole campus is well connected through wired as well as wireless networks. Students are able to have access to the internet with 100 MBPS connectivity. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to classrooms but also extends to all areas including the library, cafeteria, and hostels. Eventually, it enables CPR to switch over to innovative and recent teaching and learning methodologies.

The College of Pharmacy has a spacious, air-conditioned Cafeteria which provides nutritious and hygienic snacks and beverages at nominal charges to students, faculty, and visitors alike. The Cafeteria in the College is the hub of each student's activities. The Cafeteria serves a variety of delicious and healthy dishes both for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians, at a minimal cost. The menu is regularly modified as per seasonal cycles and desired choices. You can easily get various types of eateries from local food to various fast foods.

The well-furnished hostels are equipped with modern amenities and facilities for sports and recreation such as T.V. outdoor games, indoor games etc. Net surfing facilities are also available in a Wi-Fi-enabled system.

Boys Hostel

The boy’s hostel campus residence at College of Pharmacy Roorkee, with 277 seat capacity. The accommodation at Boy's Hostel comprises American-style apartments which are well furnished, hygienic, and have ultra-modern amenities. Each room is established state-of-the-art with an attached Lobby It and has box type bed, a big almirah, mattresses, and bed sheets for each student. The hostel premise has a common room with Satellite TV Facility, a study room, and state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

Girls Hostel

The girl’s hostel campus residence at the College of Pharmacy Roorkee has a capacity of 150 seats. The accommodation at Girl's Hostel comprises American-style apartments which are well furnished, hygienic, and have ultra-modern amenities. There is a total of Three blocks in Girl's Hostel. Each block consists of state-of-the-art designed rooms with an attached lobby. Each room has box type bed, a big almirah, mattresses, and a bed sheet for each student. The hostel premises also have a common room with Satellite TV Facility, a study room, and state-of-the-art indoor sports facilities.

Food

The hostel premises comprises a separate dining facility in the Boys' Hostel and in Girls' Hostel. The food served at the hostel mess is of high quality and meets the acceptable quality standards as laid down under FSSAI and other Govt. food safety regulations. Special consideration is given to providing a well-balanced, nutritional diet with varying food tastes.

Study Room

Study rooms at both hostels are well furnished Plug & Play electric boards with sockets and Ethernet/Wi-Fi enabled.

Gymnasium

College of Pharmacy Roorkee promotes fitness regime among students and for the same college, infrastructure includes a fitness gym, which comprises bikes, treadmills, and weights. The gym is not only geared towards providing equipment but also emboldens and guides students to use this facility to groom and augment their personalities. A qualified trainer helps in running the gym and guiding the students.

Training & Placements

The Training & Placement Cell is assisted by a committee comprising T&P Officer, and Faculty members. The committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Student members are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions. Training & Placement Cell regularly interacts with corporate houses to explore the possibility of workshops, pieces of training, industrial visits, and summer internships.
