Internships Opportunities : There are 100% internship opportunities for all the students of our college. After the 5th semester, students will become interns and work side by side with senior doctors and experience the different diseases and patients.
Placement:
Culinary Institute of India (CII) and Centre for Information Technology and Management Sciences, Durgapur Placement has its own recruitment cell for On-campus and off-campus placements. At the end of the curriculum, the students are made to appear for on-campus and off-campus interviews for placement – wherein we have an excellent track record for the last 15 years.
The companies pick them up during their training stints or the students are sent for interviews from the third quarter itself. Placements become a natural logical conclusion once the companies evaluate them at the special training organized in the last quarter. However, any student falling short may be prepared for the interview accordingly and opportunities enhanced for the placement.
For MBA & BBA students the placement comes as a smooth transition from the academic curriculum to the business fraternity because of excellent industry experience and the industry-focused teaching curriculum. Our Director Mr. Rakesh Kr Gupta follows the adage set by Mr. Arindam Chowdhury (must Guru) that management is no secret subject; it can be taught and practiced by anybody in the world provided he / or she is willing to put in some time. Thus placement comes as a natural corollary to students of any ability.
