The institution was established in the year 1987, as the department of Management of Dr. Ambedkar College, Nagpur, which was separated into a standalone institution in the year 2002. In its 36 years of existence, the institute has grown from a humble beginning of 60 MBA seats to the present intake capacity of over 1000 seats offering B.B.A, B.Com. (Computer Application), M.C.M, M.B.A. and Ph.D. programmes.

Summer Internship Programme
Many Indian B-Schools as well as departments within the Management of Universities do not accept students with experience in corporate for the MBA programs.
