It has more than 4000 books covering nearly all aspects of Commerce, Humanities Computer Science & Science. It regularly subscribes to various magazines and daily newspapers in Punjabi, Hindi, and English. The library also serves as a rich workspace for staff members to do research and reference. The library provides various books for the reference of students, the collection has been segregated into well-defined units. Books are well cataloged and alphabetically arranged. The college library has both academic and nonacademic material for the students.

COMPUTER LABS:

The college has a computer laboratory to delve into the minds of the students with advanced software. The college believes in imparting strong practical exposure to students. So it keeps on upgrading the labs on a regular basis. The laboratory is well equipped with the latest hardware and software in order to provide the students ‘hands-on’ exposure to programming, developing, and testing software and hardware. 

SMART CLASSROOMS:

The college has a well-furnished Home Science Lab that is equipped with all modern gadgets and appliances like microwave, refrigerator, oven toaster-griller, cooking range, food processor, sewing machine (ordinary and fashion maker), utensils, cutlery and crockery where students are acquainted with hands-on knowledge and skills. 

Sports:

It is a privilege for the college and its surrounding areas that the Sports Authority of India (SAI) is taking many measures for the upliftment of sports in Zirakpur. One such step is the establishment of the SAI Extension Center at Dashemsh Khalsa College, Zirakpur for Judo. Mrs. Tejinder Kaur is the main coach of international repute. The aim of this center is talent scouting at the micro level and nurturing talent towards excellence.

Students must belong to Minority Community & Family Income Less than 2 Lacs Per Annum. Pursuing Professional Courses At least 60% marks in Previous Examinations and a Family Income of Less than 2.5 Lacs Per Annum
