Admissions to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs at Daulat Ram College in 2024 are primarily determined by the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) organized by NTA. For UG admissions, candidates need to take the CUET UG examination, while for PG programs, the CUET PG examination is required. The former Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions has now been substituted with the CUET PG exam.

UG Selection Process:

The UG selection process involves the CUET conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Qualified candidates in CUET exams need to enroll in e-counseling and then select their desired college through two e-counseling rounds.

The CUET examinations consist of three sections:

Languages: Comprising two sections 'A' and 'B' with multiple languages. Candidates must appear in at least one language for admission.
Domain Specific: Includes 27 subjects. Candidates must refer to program-specific eligibility criteria to choose domain-specific subjects.
General Test: Applicable for admission to any UG program. Candidates must refer to specific eligibility criteria to select general tests.

Admission to PG programs is based on Merit and valid CUET PG scores. Graduates from DU-affiliated colleges can opt for merit-based admission. Those graduating from other universities or with different Bachelor's Degrees must qualify in the DU conducted entrance exam (CUET PG).

Diploma/Certificate/Advanced Certificate Eligibility and Selection Process:

Students must pass the 10+2 level from a recognized board. Selection is based on scores secured in the last qualifying examinations.

Aspirants must fill out the form on the centralized portal by paying a non-refundable fee. Selection of Courses and College Preferences: Eligible candidates select courses and colleges post CUET results declaration. Seat Allocation and Final Admission: Merit lists based on CUET scores will be declared, followed by multiple rounds of seat allotment. Seat allocation considers a combination of factors such as college and program choice, candidate's position in the merit list, category, and seat availability. Upon seat acceptance, eligibility verification, document scrutiny, and fee payment confirm admission.
