Admissions to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs at Daulat Ram College in 2024 are primarily determined by the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) organized by NTA. For UG admissions, candidates need to take the CUET UG examination, while for PG programs, the CUET PG examination is required. The former Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions has now been substituted with the CUET PG exam.
After the declaration of CUET results, successful candidates must register on Delhi University's admission portal (admission.uod.ac.in). Subsequently, they should indicate their program and college preferences. The allocation of seats for UG courses will be managed through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
Regarding PG admissions, 50% of seats are reserved for students who completed their bachelor's from Delhi University. These seats will be allocated based on merit in their qualifying examination. The remaining 50% of seats are offered through the CUET PG examination. Additionally, 50% of seats are reserved for students from SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD categories.
UG Selection Process:
The CUET examinations consist of three sections:
Admission to PG programs is based on Merit and valid CUET PG scores. Graduates from DU-affiliated colleges can opt for merit-based admission. Those graduating from other universities or with different Bachelor's Degrees must qualify in the DU conducted entrance exam (CUET PG).
Diploma/Certificate/Advanced Certificate Eligibility and Selection Process:
The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process for 2024 involves three phases:
CSAS Application Form:
Aspirants must fill out the form on the centralized portal by paying a non-refundable fee. Selection of Courses and College Preferences: Eligible candidates select courses and colleges post CUET results declaration. Seat Allocation and Final Admission: Merit lists based on CUET scores will be declared, followed by multiple rounds of seat allotment. Seat allocation considers a combination of factors such as college and program choice, candidate's position in the merit list, category, and seat availability. Upon seat acceptance, eligibility verification, document scrutiny, and fee payment confirm admission.
