Inspired by the guiding concepts of women's education and development as articulated and practiced by the holy woman Behan Devki Devi Ji this college was founded in 1971 by the management of S.S. Jain Girls School Committee (Regd.). Behan Devki Devi Ji, the founder of this college was a renowned educator of her time.
