MES Mampad College was started in 1965 by the Ernad Educational Association, at a time when the socio-educational and economic level of the Ernad region and the people was alarmingly poor. There was no even UP School or High School in the Mampad Panchayath, which points to the extreme backwardness of the area. It was this grim reality that impelled the famous scholar and reformer, late C.N Ahamed Moulavi to persuade the late Athan Moyin Adhikari, a landlord and philanthropist residing at Mampad to establish an institution in a rural area in Mampad village. One fundamental reason for the educational backwardness of this region had been the absence, for a long time, of an institution for higher learning.

Hostel:

There are separate hostels for men and women students. The boys' hostel accommodates 68 and the girls' hostel can accommodate 200. There are also P.G. hostels for women. The mess and establishment charges are shared by the inmates on a no-profit no-loss basis.

Auditorium:

The college has a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 1500. All major academic activities like seminars/symposia and other meetings are held in the auditorium. It is also used for selected functions organized in association with government organizations, local bodies, and NGOs.

Seminar hall:

The college has two well-equipped seminar halls with an LCD projector & Sound System. Students are advised to make use of these facilities as supplementary learning devices besides classroom lectures. Films of educational value and films based on prescribed English texts (novel and drama) are exhibited, depending on availability. Seminar halls will regularly host seminars/ conferences /discussions/ symposiums/ exhibitions at various levels.

Cafeteria:

The cafeteria of the college is situated in an exclusive & spacious building. Food items including tea, coffee, snacks, cold drinks, and meals are available here at moderate prices. The spacious hall inside the cafeteria is adequate to arrange parties & reception.

Bus:

College bus service is available on selected routes such as College to Mampad and to Pulikkalodi with the affordable fare. The well-organized transport management system of MES keeps the students punctual.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s The language laboratory provides students an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the speech sounds of English and Arabic. The language lab is attached to the Computer Centre and is part of using ICT in the learning process. Updated language teaching software is available in the language laboratory

Faculty: 

Our faculties are highly qualified. There are about 8 teachers including the head of teaching. All of them are very friendly and make us inspired to go to the next level after the course. And also they help with study and the infrastructure of the department is vast.

Placement: 

Wipro was one of the companies visited for campus interviews. based on interviews merit students were selected. our college has a special team for making campus interviews. Every year around 50 students will be selected through placement cells.
