Dhivya College of Education was started during the year 2005 by the B.Selvarajan Educational Trust under the dynamic leadership of Mr. B.Selvarajan. The new institution, named Dhivya College of Education, at Chetpet, Tiruvannamalai District, started functioning in November 2005. B.Selvarajan Educational Trust is established in 1992 and imparts high-quality education in multiple disciplines to 4000 students in institutions from pre-primary to post-graduate level.

The calm, serene, and eco-friendly green campus provides an ambiance to have an excellent teaching–learning experience and social life. The institution from its very inception has been firmly insistent on being highly determined in maintaining an excellent academic atmosphere, discipline, and culture among the students. Our college is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu, Approved by NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education), and the college was affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore until 2007-08, and then to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai from 2008-09.
