The Directorate of Distance Education following the concept of the Distance Education Council (DEC), has become an installation in 1994. It became the primary of its type in West Bengal. It advanced and evolved when you consider its inception and now in 2008, it has a great infrastructure of its own. Admission

For MA/M. Com/ M.Sc., the selection is at the concept of Merit in the final qualifying exam. For the MBA programme, the selection is based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or other Management Aptitude Tests. For B.Ed, the choice is at the concept of normal usual overall performance withinside the final qualifying exam.
