In 1936, the leadership of the medical school was transferred to Arya Samaj, Saban Bazar, and Ludhiana under the auspices of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Punjab. A separate Managing Body became nominated through the Managing Committee of Arya High School, Ludhiana, and was moved to its building in 1937 (now Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, College Campus).
