DIET Eligibility criteria
1. Eligibility criteria for first-year B.Tech admissions vary depending on the candidate's Maharashtra State or All India Candidature status. For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates, the applicant must be an Indian National and have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. They should have obtained at least 45% marks (or at least 40% marks for candidates from Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability within Maharashtra State) in these subjects combined. Additionally, the candidate must have appeared for all subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and obtained a non-zero score.
2. Alternatively, candidates can be eligible if they have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (or at least 40% marks for specific categories within Maharashtra State).
