The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2004 as a home to the popular Master in Business Administration course being taught since August 2001.
The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2004 as a home to the popular Master in Business Administration course being taught since August 2001. Library
Information is an essential input for national development. The modern library has a great responsibility for the exploitation and use of information. The library and information centers strive to provide high-quality library services that emphasize the efficient provision rather than the actual delivery of documents to meet general and specific user needs. The Central Library is based on the objectives of the parent institution of MRGI.
Canteen
A canteen facility is available in the campus. There are several Kiosks, Food Courts, and Cafeteria inside the campus with providing food at a nominal cost. The university has a well-established cafe located on campus. There are several kiosks and food courts that offer a wide range of dishes, including northern& South Indian as well as fast food for the benefit of the students and staff. The food court was built to the highest hygienic standards and offers a taste of home, with freshly cooked healthy meals.
Sports
Sport is an integral part of the curriculum. Various sports facilities are available to students on campus. The college is committed to creating a balanced atmosphere of academic, cultural, and sporting activities for the overall development of the personality of its students. Various sports competitions such as interdepartmental, intercollegiate, interuniversity, etc. help develop team spirit among students. Sports and games help students improve their interpersonal relationships in a healthy way.
The Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras accepts admission through various entrance exams like the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.
