Facilities and Infrastructure

The foundation of an institution relies on its infrastructure, which enables a wide range of curricular and extracurricular activities. Therefore, an outstanding infrastructure should cater to both modern and traditional needs. For example, wireless internet, a library, e-library, sports equipment, labs, hostels, mess, etc. DBRANLU boasts an excellent infrastructure that accommodates these diverse requirements.

Residential Accommodations:

The DBRANLU is entirely residential and maintains separate hostels for male and female students. The university features a fully furnished hostel with over 400 rooms in the residential block, including 300 single-seater rooms and 60 double-seater rooms. These accommodations are equipped with state-of-the-art firefighting systems, security, hot water facilities, and water coolers with RO systems.

The Halls of Residence are well-appointed with common room facilities, indoor games such as table tennis and a pool table, television, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, separate laundry rooms, elevators accommodating sixteen passengers each, smoke detectors, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) facilities. 

Library:

The campus provides a meticulously designed and spacious library with air-conditioned reading halls that have ample seating capacity. The library is stocked with contemporary stacks containing diverse and rich collections of textbooks, journals, reference books, and periodicals, including e-resources.

The library, a three-floor centrally air-conditioned independent building with a Wi-Fi environment, allows access to national and international digital learning resources 24x7 from any corner of the university or even outside the campus through remote access services. 

Medical Facilities:

The campus houses a well-equipped medical center capable of handling emergencies. Doctors visit the Medical Care Centre daily during specified hours. The center is stocked with essential medications to address minor medical needs, and these services are available 24/7.

Sports Facilities:

DBRANLU Various sports and recreational facilities are available on campus, including a well-equipped gym, a soccer field, a multipurpose indoor sports complex, and an upcoming Olympic-sized swimming pool.  The university currently has basketball and volleyball courts, along with a state-of-the-art gym with modern equipment for both male and female students in their respective halls of residence. 

Classroom Facility:

The DBRANLU is equipped with smart classrooms, including four technologically enhanced classrooms fostering opportunities for teaching and learning. These smart classrooms integrate learning technologies such as computers, specialized software, audience response technology, assistive listening devices, networking, and audio/visual capabilities. 

Moreover, smart or digital classrooms encourage creativity and an interactive environment that facilitates more innovative ideas, questions, and solutions during interactive sessions in the classrooms.
