Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Government College, Sri Ganganagar is a pioneer co-academic group withinside the place to offer possibilities for education to college students coming from rural and economically weaker sections of society in and around Sri Ganganagar. It was, to begin with, established as a Secondary School in 1939 by Maharaja Ganga Singh. It was promoted to an Intermediate College in 1946 and graduated to a better seat of gaining knowledge in 1954 as a Graduation College in Arts and in 1960 with a Graduation in Science. Post-Graduation research started at the college in 1968.
