In case of an emergency, the student is immediately taken to the hospital by a college ambulance.

In addition to a large collection of books on Engineering, Science, and Humanities, the Central library has a total seating capacity of 600 people with an Integrated Information System in place. All of its activities have been digitised, including acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, and stock. It is well-protected with a fire alarm and CCTV surveillance. The Central Library has print and internet subscriptions to national and international journals. A video conferencing system and NPTEL video courses are available at the library.
CVRU Bilaspur facilities and infrastructure include a playground for games like cricket, hockey, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, and tennis. The university provides sports facilities and encourages its students to participate in indoor as well as outdoor sports for their physical and mental well-being. CVRU Bilaspur every year conducts different sports competitions. CVRU also participates in the Mini Olympiad and takes part in various games such as volleyball, football, handball, kho kho, kabaddi, swimming, weightlifting and wrestling.
