Dr. Gour Mohan Roy College is a very famous Institution of Higher Learning in Purba Bardhaman. The College was established on 28.11.1986 with the main objective of disseminating knowledge and catering to the needs of the students of the district. It is a multi-faculty college and is recognized under 2f and 12-B of the UGC, Act 1956 on 21.09.1994. It has twelve UG departments, one Lady's Hostel, one playground, and a nice campus. Today there are nearly 3600 students in our college.
