Dr.PSIMS & RF was established in the year 2002 and a Dental Institution in the year 2005 for extending health care facilities to the rural needy public under PURA (Providing Urban facilities in the Rural Area) and Medical / Dental Education in Andhra Pradesh under the sponsorship of the Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education, Vijayawada. The Siddhartha Academy, which was established in the year 1975, has emerged as a benchmark of excellence in running educational institutions in Krishna District in and around Vijayawada in particular and in Andhra Pradesh in general. With the objective of preparing the coming generations to face the challenges of the future in a better way, the Siddhartha Academy instituted learning programs from the school level to Post Graduate studies and Professional colleges.

Hostel:

Dr. PSIMS & RF medical campus has separate in-campus residential complexes for students and staff, teaching, and nonteaching staff. The residential facilities provided here are exemplary and ensure the comfort and safety of the students at all times. The students and staff commuting from the town and nearby villages are provided with transportation facilities. These blocks have well-furnished accommodation, which is offered either twin-sharing or triple sharing based on availability. The Hostel had a coat, a mattress, a study table, a chair, and a cub board for each student. The hostel had many more facilities like a water cooler, common telephone, common TV room, Gymnasium and indoor games facilities, etc.

Campus:

The campus houses a medical college, teaching hospital, hostels for both men and women, and staff quarters for faculty, nursing, and other non-teaching/para medical with all requisite facilities. At present, a total plinth area of 8,23,000 ft has been made ready for all the facilities at the campus. The campus is self-contained with all amenities. It has uninterrupted power and water supply, a supermarket, a scheduled bank, a post office, telephone exchange of BSNL and facilities for STD & ISD, Internet services with WiFi (The only institute having such facility in Andhra Pradesh) & 100% Telephone Intercom services. The campus is a world of its own and answers every need of the students and the staff alike.

Library:

The Central Library is located on the Ground floor of the College building and is open to all the students & staff from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on all working days. As the years rolled by, the infrastructure in the library was improved upon and more and more books were added. Presently the Central Library has about 12459 books, 102 Journals (Indian & Foreign), and a host of Newspapers, Magazines & Periodicals.

Faculty: 

They are really good at times without their assistance we can't even imagine how to get through all those subjects they are very helpful at catchy moments their experience makes us feel spellbound they don't share their experience but their life itself.

Placement: 

Yes my college provides a stipend which is 2000 per month it was only given for one year of our service after completing graduation we have to attend pg neet for the post-graduation college offers teachings for the entrance exam but really it does not provide any job opportunity
