After 4.5 years of MBBS course, internship follows for 1 year. The medical license is provided to the student by the Medical Council Committee of India (MCC). Now the student becomes a full-fledged doctor who can set up a clinic or hospital anywhere all through India. Or may go to a government hospital as a resident doctor.
