Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), was established in 1999 under the reign of Sri SNS Charitable Trust. The trust was established in the year 1997 with a philanthropic outlook of serving society in the fields of education, health, and industry. The trustees with rich experience and wide knowledge in the industry, medicine, and higher education, dedicated themselves to work for the development of society in these fields by way of starting various charitable institutions in a phased manner.

The college is affiliated with the university of Bharathiar University and is Accredited by NAAC.
The college courses are offered undergraduate programs (B.Sc, B.Com).

Library:
The Library of the Dr.SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) was established along with the genesis of the College in the year 1999. The Library is functioning with a total area of 7200 Sq.ft. with a seating capacity of 200 students at a time. From the Contribution of Management and the keen interest of our beloved Chairman, Correspondent, Secretary, and Technical Director the collection of the Library is being increased steadily. We embrace the rich heritage and vibrant future of our Student community.
Hostel Facilities:
Students pursue their academic activities in a free and peaceful atmosphere. The hostels are a home away from home for the students. On our campus, there are separate hostels for both Boys & Girls. The hostel rooms measure different sizes with a capacity of 3 to 5 beds and common bathrooms. The hostels are surrounded by tall green trees thus creating an airy and ambient atmosphere for students to move around. The hostel is well connected with Coimbatore city by transport.
Transport Facilities:
The institution has established extensive commuting facilities in 23 different routes encircling 3 districts for the safe and secure travel of students from their residences to the college campus.
