Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation, Ahmednagar is in the service of education since 1986. Dr VVP Foundation at Ahmednagar is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, dated – 5th July 1982 -Reg. No-MAH-/ 544/ANR/82/ BPT/Act-490(Ahmednagar). The foundation is dedicated to providing quality education in the field of engineering, pharmacy, medicine and management. To realize the visionary thoughts of Dr Vithalrao Vikhe Patil, his worthy son, Hon’ble Padmabhushan Shri. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, established “Dr Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation” (Dr VVP Foundation) in the year 1982, with the sole aim to spread technical, medical, paramedical, and Ayurvedic education in developing rural areas, thus contributing immensely towards national human resource development. Embarked on the journey by starting the College of Engineering in 1982. School of Management (IBMRD) is offering MBA degree courses at the University of Pune since 1986 and MCA courses from 2010-11. College of Pharmacy commenced in 1994 with an intake of 60 students in independent premises of the Foundation. Presently the Institute has four PG courses and a PhD Research Centre. Dr Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation is actively engaged in serving society and rural areas since 1982.
