The era of success of DRK Group of Educational Institutions has started way back in 2004 when it was established by Mr.D.B Chandra Sekhar Rao in the fond memory of his late father Sri Dasari Rama Kotaiah garu. Mr.D.B Chandra Shekar Rao is an eminent & successful entrepreneur, who has subsequently decided to focus on high quality education with the philanthropic motive, to act as a leader to promote economic & industrial growth of the country. DRKIST belongs to the DRK Educational Society. DRK Group has envisaged significant investment of capital and resources to give shape to the development of the institute, in terms of Infrastructure, academic resources and career development for its students. A vibrant effort has been made to consciously invest to improve the conceptual and technical skill of the students.
DRK Institute of Science and Technology (DRKIST, Hyderabad) was initiated in 2004, when it was founded in the name of Mr.D.B Chandra Sekhar RAO in the memories of his father's passing Sri Dasari Rama Kotaiah garu. Mr.D.B Chandra Shekar Rally is a prominent and successful entrepreneur who has since decided to concentrate on a high-quality education in order to support philanthropy and to be an advocate for the industrial and economic growth of the nation. DRKIST is part of the DRK Educational Society. DRK Group has envisaged significant expenditure of capital and resources in order to help shape the growth of the institute in terms of infrastructure as well as academic resources and professional development for students. An active initiative has been taken to actively invest in improving the technical and conceptual skills of students.
DRK Institute of Science and Technology (DRKIST, Hyderabad) is accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.
DRK Institute of Science and Technology (DRKIST, Hyderabad) courses are available at different levels, including undergraduate degrees i.e. the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) for Electronics & Communication Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science Engineering etc, Postgraduate degree i.e MBA (Master of Business Administration), Master of Technology (M.Tech.) etc. Additionally, you can find an overview of the various programs that the university offers across different disciplines and their specializations on the course page.
Library
DRKIST has an extensive library that includes more than 37570 volumes of Text/Reference and Hand Books. The Library has more than 65 national journals and also have a large collection of electronic resources as CDs and DVDs in addition to Reports/Theses or Dissertations. The Library operation is completely automated. The Library also offers appropriate equipment for reprographics to the teachers and students.
A well-equipped library is a symbol of excellence in education in the highest form. As it is a New Age library, it gives access to unlimited information in various formats, and comes from numerous sources. For students at DRKIST it provides the perfect environment for research, innovation , and development as well as a relaxing environment to discover this world. In the beginning Central Library Central Library is in sync with the most recent advances in technology and offers an equal mix of digital and print collections. The internet-based databases such as DELNET along with other professional organizations provide a variety of possibilities for both students and scholars.
Seminar Hall
A fully air-conditioned seminar hall with a 200 seats is available at the college for arranging different activities and events. Workshops, training programs and Value-added courses, Seminars, conferences, guest talks, faculty development Programs and Group Discussions are organized regularly to benefit faculty and students.
Games for the In Door as well Out Door Games
We have a stunning large ground that is perfect for outdoor games. Notable when playing outdoor are our courts for throwing balls. Yoga classes are also taught by a skilled physical instructor to improve and strengthen the physical and mental capacities .
Quite a lot of indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carroms are a regular feature of sports activities for faculty as well as students which are helpful in refreshing the mindsets of the students and faculty for the academic pursuance/performance.
Cafeteria
Our college has a great canteen that serves a variety of foods and snacks that are of high-quality and hygiene.
The college has a large canteen within the campus. There are a variety of south Indian and North Indian and Chines snacks and meals are offered to the students as well as the faculty of the institution at subsidized rates and of the highest quality.
The kitchen at the Canteen is large equipped with steam cookers and the kitchen staff is attentive to provide staff and students with nutritious and safe food at the canteen on campus. The food items are cooked with RO-treated water. The college also offers light refreshments such as snack foods cakes, cakes, vegetables. puffs, beverages, etc. the staff and students of the college.
