The DSITM emerged from the trust Devender Singh Educational Trust, Ghaziabad, and is an autonomous, self-supporting institution starting with session 2008-09 with seed support from the AICTE, New Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow (UPTU). A major goal of DSITM is to impart a uniquely broad and interdisciplinary technical education of the highest academic quality. This is achieved through an integrated curriculum that consists of a highly diverse set of technical courses, interdisciplinary technical research projects, day-to-day interaction with industry, and preparation in entrepreneurship and personality development courses.
D. S. Institute of Technology & Management (DSITM, Ghaziabad) was born out of the Devender Singh Educational Trust, Ghaziabad, an independent, self-supporting institution that started the session 2008-2009, and AICTE, New Delhi and Mahamaya University of Technology, Noida (formerly Uttar Pradesh University of Technology Lucknow () The core objective of UPTU).DSITM is to provide uniquely comprehensive and interdisciplinary high-quality technical education. This is achieved through an integrated curriculum consisting of a wide variety of technical courses, interdisciplinary technical research projects, daily interaction with industry, and preparation for entrepreneurship and personality development courses.
D. S. Institute of Technology & Management (DSITM, Ghaziabad) courses are offered at various levels like MBA (Master of Business Administration), Master of Technology (M.Tech.) The off-campus boy's hostel for 200 students is equipped with beads, tables, lockers, etc. Besides, a separate hostel for more than 30 girls has been arranged in a good area of ??Ghaziabad. Each guest house has an adequate secure telephone connection, and leisure facilities like television, newspapers/magazines, table tennis, etc.
Library:The Central Library is located in a well-furnished, lighted, and ventilated hall with sufficient seating. More than 5,412 books of Indian and foreign origin with about 1,297 titles were carefully selected by the library of the institute for this purpose.
Labs:The air-conditioned computer center teaches students to use the computer as a data processor in the latest business environment. The computer lab is fully networked with the latest software. The center has 24/7 internet access.
Anti-Ragging Campus:DSITM is always against blasting and warns our students against its social exploitation. The Honorable Supreme Court of India by its order made it mandatory for all educational institutions to report explosive incidents to the local police and stipulated that those involved in this heinous act will receive exemplary punishment.
Sports Facilities:The institute has developed basketball courts, a volleyball court, and a badminton court to promote sports activities. The institute has a recreation room for indoor games like chess, caramel, etc. Other outdoor sports like cricket etc are also available in other places.
Admission to B.Tech is through the National Entrance Examination conducted by U.P. University of Technology, Lucknow. Candidates who have passed Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at the Intermediate level with any of the following:- Computer Science/Chemistry as per UPTU guidelines.
DSITM's Training and Placement Unit is an independent focus area led by professors and professionals with proven experience in the corporate world. The association of these industry experts brings with it a corporate culture, an influential customer relationship, and a close relationship with the industry.
