The East-West Institute of Technology was founded in 2001 with the main motto of providing the highest quality and quality-based technical education. The EWIT library was established in 2001. EWIT has a well-stocked computerized library that caters to the needs of students, researchers, and professors. The central library is located in the main block and the GUT library in the CMM block covers an area of approximately 617 m2 and can accommodate 200 users at a time. The library is known for its collections of books, magazines, e-journals, e-books, NPTEL videos, Swayam, NDLI (National Digital Library of India), and VTU Question Papers.

Library has a collection of 42,456 volumes, 11,152 titles, and access to over 7,361 e-journals and 25,172 e-books across engineering, science, technology, management, and architecture. In addition to the central library, all faculties have separate department-level libraries to meet student needs and provide instant reference and easy department-level access.

Hostels:

A hostel is a place a student cannot return to after a hard day at college. EWIT offers comfortable and hygienic dormitory accommodation on campus, separated for boys and girls. We tried to make the hostel the best place to stay when you come home. The manager manages the hostel and takes care of any issues that may arise during normal operations. A technically trained and experienced staff takes care of the maintenance of the hostel.

For all the students in the hostel who come from different walks of the country and have different tastes, the menu is designed as a mix of North and South Indian dishes with daily changes. College focus on the hygiene, quality, and cleanliness of the food prepared in the hostel kitchen, which is supervised and prepared by experienced and qualified chefs.
