Facilities and Infrastructure by Ekamra College

The college campus extends to an area of 10 acres. It has well-equipped classrooms, a conference gallery, a computerized administrative block, a well-equipped library, and well-furnished science laboratories. For effective teaching and learning a wide range of facilities such as language lab, ICT classrooms, OHP, LCD Projectors, Interactive smart board & green board are provided.

Class Room:

There are well 30 lighted and well-ventilated classrooms. Out of which 14 are smart classrooms.

Language Lab:

Designed by IIT Kharagpur, it is a proud asset of the college which is a customized laboratory impact. English language skills to the students in a highly technologically advanced atmosphere. It is equipped with 5 copies. One interactive-based, specially designed software for English learning and one OHP accommodating 24 students.

Library:

The college library comes into existence with the inception of the college in the year 1979. It has a collection of 19,000 textbooks and reference books, besides journals, Encyclopedia & Dictionaries. There is a good collection of fiction & nonfiction for light reading. The library has SEAL software to manage interaction, book acquisition, circulation, and cataloging.

Computer Centre:

It has 20 computers with different software to facilitate e-learning. The computer lab sources as the center for teaching computer use to the students. Teachers also use the lab for research and for creating technology-based projects.

Virtual Class Room:

The college has virtual classrooms in which students engage with lesson materials online and get connected with several participants through voice & audio conferencing. enabling collaboration & cooperation learning.

Games & Sports:

For students to maintain a better physical shape, enthusiasm & energy level, the institution encourages games & sports articles. For this purpose, the Ekamra Athletic Club is constituted. It consisting all the members of the Staff & all the students of the +3 stream. the Executive Committee of the Athletic Club Called the Ekamra College Athletic Council consists of the Principal as the ex-office President, Vice-President & Associate Vice-president to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of the staff.

WIFI Campus:

Internet Facilities are available through leased lines and Wi-Fi for providing continuous and uninterrupted internet connectivity to students as well as faculty members.

Admission of Ekamra College

The College has adopted the e-Admission procedure through the student's Academic Management System (SAMS) for both the +2 & +3 courses since 2009-10 approved by the Government of Odisha.
