With a humble beginning in the year 1979, as 'Elite Aarogya Bhavan, today Elite Mission Hospital has grown to a full–fledged Super specialty Hospital with a galaxy of distinguished consultants in all specialties and advanced modern technologies & capable of catering to the health care needs of our society. This is the first hospital to get ISO 9001 certificate in Thrissur and with NABH accreditation.

Started in the year 2011, Elite College of Nursing, a unit of Elite Mission Hospital is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council & Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council. It conducts a 4-year B.Sc nursing course with an annual intake of 40 students.

The college has its own 6 storied building with adequate infrastructural facilities for academic & residential college has fully equipped Laboratories, Library, and Internet facilities for students.

Clinical facilities

Elite Mission Hospital is equipped with all departments for the effective and efficient clinical experience rendered for the students. For Advanced Nursing Practices in Oncology, OBG Nursing & Mental Health we are affiliated with specialty Hospitals. Govt. CHCs / PHCs are being utilized for Community Health Nursing practices.

Hostel 

Hostel facilities are provided only for girls within the campus. It provides, a serene ambiance for learning and intellectual development. PTA

PTA meetings are conducted every 3 months. Parents are given the opportunity to discuss the progress of their wards. Other matters related to the welfare of the students are also discussed.

Student Nurses Association (SNA) & College Union

The students are given ample opportunities to develop their talents in co-curricular activities. Students Nurses Association serves as a platform for them to express their sports, arts, cultural, and literary talents. Competitions are held at unit, zonal, and state levels, and students are used to bag prizes. The students celebrate festivals like Onam, Xmas, etc in a colorful manner.
