ELTIS was the first institute started by Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Founder and President of Symbiosis. It was started to help the International Students acquire a good command of the English language, so as to facilitate their higher education through English medium. From a modest beginning in 2 small rooms with 2 teachers, it has now grown to the stature of one of the best language schools of India. It is today a proud department of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) re-accredited with “A++” grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). It imparts English Language training to 5500+ Indian students every year.

The Institute has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Digital Electronics Lab • Microwave Lab • VLSI Lab • Simulation Lab • Digital Signal Processing Lab • Signals and Systems Lab • Solid States Lab • Communication Lab etc.
Auditorium
The Institute provides a mini auditorium with a seating capacity of 100 students.

The University has provided 2 Ac Classrooms classrooms that are fully air-conditioned and spacious.
The classrooms are also equipped with audio-visual facilities.
Medical Facilities
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Library
The University provides a state-of-the-art library. It has a collection of books, journals, and other resources required for the students. They have a subscription to 130,000 e-books and 33 online databases as per the requirement of the institutions. The central library is a collaboration with many resourceful libraries and consortia with INFLIBNET in the country. It has the facility of KOHA-integrated library Management software for all its constituent units. It also has the facility of an Online Public Access Catalogue [OPAC].EBSCO, Emerald, Scopus, JSTOR, Frost and Sullivan, and EMIS, are the major databases accessible from the library portal.
To inculcate the spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' (the world is one family) to foster the spirit of national development to develop global competencies among students to enhance employability and contribute to human resource development to instill sensitivity amongst the youth towards the community and environment
To contribute towards knowledge generation and dissemination to promote ethical and value-based learning to inculcate cross-cultural sensitization to nurture creativity and encourage entrepreneurship to promote health and wellness amongst students, staff, and community to produce thought-provoking leaders for the society
