Ettumanoorappan College is a pioneering and self-funded co-educational college affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. The founding President of the University is the late MN Ramakrishna Pillai (Retired Dean). The College was founded in 1995 and is owned by the Ettumanoor Educational Society which is registered under the Charities Act 1985. 

The college aims to improve the life chances of individuals and the productivity of organizations. The purpose of the college is to provide students with up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum subjects in order to highlight students' innate talents and give them the confidence to pursue a variety of careers. The college helps students develop soft skills through in-depth training in communication skills, leadership skills, personal development, and character and ability development, so focuses on the holistic development of individuals to make them good citizens.

The College Library was established in 1995 and is dedicated to the memory of Thumpungal Ramakrishna Pilla Sir, father of our Patron Sri R. Ramachandran Nair IAS (ret. chief secretary) who is an efficient administrator, and an excellent writer. This library has a collection of manuscripts and ancient theses written by important figures. 

The library is open on all college weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.mEvery Saturday from 00:00 to 13:00 except the second Saturday. The library and reading room include all teachers, non-academic staff, and students of the university registers. library as a scientific center The current stock of the document includes around 19,000 books, 20 journals, and 4 periodicals. The books are bar-coded and the cleaning operations are computerized. The average number of users (teachers and students) is around 150 per day. 

Computer room: 

The main objective of Ettumanoorappan College's well-equipped computer lab is to provide our students with support that will enhance their ability to succeed in lab work. Computer labs are essential to make activity-based learning more effective. The computer rooms are equipped with the latest hardware and software. Here we have 3 computer rooms with 90 computers connected to a high-speed local area network and the internet. There are competent and dedicated lecturers who help the students. 

Seminar room: 

The college has a well-equipped and air-conditioned seminar room for various events such as lectures, workshops, seminars, and other college events. The number of seats in the seminar room is approx. 90+. It is equipped with a complete audiovisual system and is available for special video lessons and seminars upon request from the department/employee.

Cafeteria:

The cafeteria is one of the most important parts of student life, where most of the students talk and gossip about various topics. It plays an important role in relieving tension and refreshing students. The college canteen is quite new and has enough delicious food at affordable prices. Our canteen is located on campus to make it easier for students to have good representation. 

Hostels: 

Ettumanoorappan College offers efficient, well-run, and clean student accommodation. The hostel is located near the college in a two-story building. It is truly a home-from-home where each student receives personal attention and is encouraged not only to develop their academic skills but also to become a level-headed and thoughtful person. The aim of the dormitory is to create an enlightened educational atmosphere and to support stable emotional development in line with the goals and mission of the college The hostel offers students the opportunity to meet peers from different regions and cultures.
