 To get into the first-year diploma of any course, the candidate should have passed the S.S.L.C. examination or equivalent examinations conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The candidate should have passed the 10+2 level of examination with Mathematics or Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or vocational courses (Engg.), I.T.I (2 years) are eligible to join any diploma course directly into the second year.
