FIMS has been at the forefront of management education in Kerala since its inception. Our mother institution, Farook College, has been leading North Kerala to a renaissance in education since 1948. Together we have produced leaders who are outstanding personalities in their fields. This program prepares students to become industry-ready managers and leaders able to navigate dynamic business landscapes. Throughout the course, there is an emphasis on holistic development that prepares students for complex business challenges and opportunities. The first semester prepares the foundation for the fundamentals of management. In the second semester, the foundations for the functional areas of management are laid. In the third and fourth semesters, the focus is more on specialist knowledge.

Placements Farook Institute of Management Studies: 

FIMS has a placement unit dedicated solely to the placement and recruitment of our students. The unit organizes a range of job placement and professional skills training programs over four semesters. This prepares them for the company's demanding placement process, which includes aptitude tests, group discussions, and face-to-face interviews. The internship committee is appointed with the active participation of the students and is headed by the internship coordinator of the faculty. Every year the unit publishes an integration brochure and invites several companies to participate in the integration program. In the last semester, a one-month internship is organized in which companies from different sectors that employ students take part. Our graduate works in various reputable companies around the world.
