The founders of Fergusson College had first established the New English School, Pune in 1880 and then established the Deccan Education Society (DES) in 1884. Facilities and Infrastructure

Residential Accommodations:

The campus has 6 separate hostels for each boy and girl within the campus. The hostels are monitored and taken care of with the aid of using the wardens.
