FLAME University has been established as a state private university vide the FLAME University Act 2014 (Maharashtra Act No. II of 2015) of the Government of Maharashtra.
FLAME University is a personal college set up in 2014 and sprawling over a place of 60 acres. Located in Pune, Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME) is recognized via way of means of the UGC and AICTE. There are five faculties at FLAME University which encompass the FLAME School of Communication, FLAME School of Liberal Education, FLAME School of Business, FLAME School of Computing and Data Sciences, and FLAME School of Fine & Performing Arts.
FLAME University is Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). Flame University is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and NBA.

FLAME University follows an admission process that includes the following steps:
Candidates need to fill out the online application form available on the FLAME University website. The form requires personal details, educational qualifications, entrance test scores (if applicable), work experience (if applicable), achievements, extracurricular activities, and a statement of purpose.
After completing the application form, candidates need to pay the application fee of INR 1500. The payment can be made through net banking or debit/credit card.

FLAME University has the following cutoffs for the CMAT and CAT exams for the general category:
CMAT Cutoff:
• MBA: 60 percentile
• MBA Communications Management: 60 percentile
CAT Cutoff:
• MBA: 25 percentile
• MBA Communications Management: 25 percentile
These cutoffs indicate the minimum percentile score that a candidate must obtain in the respective exams to be eligible for admission to the MBA and MBA Communications Management programs at FLAME University.

Merit Scholarships for Enrolled Students: Currently enrolled students at FLAME University are also eligible for merit scholarships based on their academic performance. To qualify, students must rank in the top 5% of their batch and have a minimum CGPA of 8.50.
College Board India Scholars Program in association with FLAME University: Students in India who score 1300 or above on the SAT are recognized as Top Performers by the College Board. Top Performers demonstrating significant financial need, with a family income less than INR 8,00,000 per annum, can receive a full tuition scholarship for the entire duration of their program of study.
