In the year 2006, FX Polytechnic College placed its first milestone in education history with the mission to reach The college is located in Tharuvai in a 25 acres campus surrounded by plush Greeneries. It is being run and governed by St Xavier’s Educational Trust. The Trust was established in the year 1989 with a legendary vision of “Reaching the Unreached” it envisaged attaining this vision with a noble and holistic mission.

The hostel can accommodate 500 boys and 500 girls. They are permitted to use their own computers in their own rooms. The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for both boys and girls. A television facility is also available in our hostel.

The College library is located in a spacious new building of 5000 sq. ft. The library is open to students and staff members from on all working days. The library has a rich collection of around 52,600 volumes of textbooks, reference books, and national and international journals in all branches of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management, and General Studies, and the collection is ever-increasing.
