Facilities and Infrastructure

The College is endowed with 3 separate hostels for boys and girls or endorsed on the campus. The hostels are like a home away from home for the students. The hostels are comfortable & secured, with more than 800 students staying on the campus and enjoying the beautiful facilities at the campus. Spacious rooms, 24-hour power backup, and Wi-Fi connectivity are some of the basic features of hostels on the campus.

Keeping in view the importance of a healthy diet, the canteen menu is designed in such a way as to offer nutritious and wholesome food. The Hosteler, Day Boarders and Staff are provided meals of assured food safety and quality. The canteen is equipped with electrical automatic cooking and storing and refrigeration facilities, which ensures hot breakfast, lunch and dinner both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. The best part about the Canteen is the waste utilization. The waste utilization of the canteen is done through a waste recycling plant installed inside the campus. The waste recycling plant or bio plant converts the waste into manure which in return produces gas that is used for cooking.

The library is the cornerstone of GIFT's education system; it has more than 33000 books and is subscribed to National & International journals along with several online journals. The library functions as an excellent resource centre, for students to pursue their academic, research and training interest. The latest Books and materials in the fields of Management, Engineering, Computer and allied disciplines are subscribed to the library on regular basis. The Highlight of our library is the Scholar Cell which is designed to broaden the knowledge of enthusiastic students through advanced learning. The library also has a spacious and environment-friendly reading room that can accommodate more than 200 students at a time.

Sports play a very important role in a student’s life, its vital in the shaping of individual’s personality and health and fitness. At GIFT we lay considerable emphasis on students’ participation in various games, sports and track and field activities. To ensure 100% results Intensive training is imparted under expert guidance. We also have In-Campus Sports Ground and a dedicated room for Indoor Sports Games. Each year, students of the Gandhi Institute For Technology achieve notable distinctions at both College Level and State Levels.

Healthcare facilities for students and staff are felt to be a basic need. The institute has a dispensary on campus to meet the first aid and routine medical requirements of the students free of cost.
