Gandhinagar Institute of Technology was established by Platinum Foundation Trust in December 2006. The Institute is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

The Trust is registered under Public Trust Act, having Registration No. E-17490 dated 19 June 2006 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

There are 6 computer terminals with an OPAC search facility including internet access for the use of students as well as staff members. Printing, and copying facilities are also available. OPAC provides access to the RC holdings, and the availability status of books, CDs, DVDs, periodicals, etc. There are 4096 book titles,16416 book volumes, journals 45, magazines 21, newspapers 11, and library members 2155.

Gandhinagar Institute of Technology Admission

GIT Admission 2026: GSHSEB has extended the last date to apply for the GUJCET 2023. Candidates can now fill out the application form at gujcet.gseb.org till January 25, 2023, to apply for undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses in Gujarat. The Form Correction will be open in the last week of February 2023, and can only be done offline. GUJCET 2023 will be conducted in April 2023.

GIT ME/M. Tech: ME/M. Tech Admissions 2023, will be done based on GATE 2023 scores. GATE 2023 is scheduled to be conducted between February 4 and February 12, 2023.
