Ganesh College of Engineering is an expansive campus of 11.22 acres. Ganesh college of Engineering is three-story structure that has 34 spacious and well-ventilated classrooms. There is also a huge well-equipped administrative wing as well as a seminar hall. The college is home to a large play area for cricket volleyball and other games outdoors and also has the basketball court. The college is equipped with a modern RO water system that is potable and also separate bathrooms for girls and boys.
The auditorium in the open air is used as the stage for the various student-run events that can accommodate all students in special occasions like the alumni meet and annual day celebration. The library has a place of honor in the ranks of our facilities, and is regarded as an asset for both the students and faculty. It can hold approximately 50 students at once. The canteen serves as an enjoyable culinary delight for our students. Food and drinks that are healthy are available. Students can walk to the canteen to relax and having a snack. Separate hostel facilities are offered for both girls and boys. The hostel offers the accommodation as well as nutritious meals for all students. The rooms are fitted with tables, chairs, fan, and cot. The college has buses available to make it easier for staff and students who are from the countryside and in Salem city.
Library
GCE Central Library Initially setup in 2010 the Central Library moved to its new, independent building. Central Library housed in the separate building to the left of the Annex building and covers an area of 417 sq/m. The principal goal of library is to offer the right source to the right person at the appropriate time. The library's collection comprises magazines, books, journals and newspapers, Back volumes, project documents and CDs/DVDs within the field of Management, Science, Engineering and Technology.
GCE Library consists of a Central Library and 8 Departmental Libraries that together support teaching research and extension programs of the Institute an air-conditioned central library that contains 9135 titles and 6955 volumes of books covering various topics. A large portion of these are rare and valuable. The library is subscribed to 82 periodicals that include 40 international journals as well as the 40 journals of national circulation. There are 656 non-book resources available. The library has been fully computerized and can cater to the requirements of faculty and students at the college. A majority of library functions such as return, issue and reservation, as well as searching books, and so on have been automated with installing. Our library is connected to DELNET (Developing Library Network) as well as NDL (National Digital Library) New Delhi, through which our students have the ability to gain access to the records and database of 258 institutions within India and around the world.
Sports
Ganesh College of Engineering offers an array of possibilities for students and staff members to remain fit and strong both physically and mentally. Games provide a sense of renewal to the body, mind and soul of students. Students have been awarded numerous prizes at the district, state and national levels. This has helped to boost the reputation that the institution enjoys.
Hostel
The Ganesh College Boys' Hostel forms an an integral component of the campus. Separate Girls Hostel operated by the Management of the Ammapet campus that is 5 kilometers of Ganesh colleges of Engineering. The hostel offers the accommodation and healthy food for all students. It is able to accommodate xxx male and xxx female students. The rooms are well-furnished with amenities such as a chairs, fan, cot and cupboards etc., Vegetarian & non vegetarian food on a divided on a basis, are accessible in the kitchen. We are open 24 hours a day to provide medical and health-related services to meet the needs of students. Resident Proctors are on hand for advice and counseling for the students. They also provide counseling and guidance to students. Hostel administration is handled by the Warden and Deputy Warden.
Canteen
The college has a large clean and airy Canteen. It offers a wide range of tasty food and snacks at an affordable price. The canteen also has stationery and snacks in the form of packaged items and soft drinks. according to the preferences and needs of not just the students , but also for the staff members. The canteen is available all days of the week.
Seminar Hall
Ganesh the college of Engineering has five seminar halls with plenty of seating for seminars, symposiums conference, meetings, and other events. Our seminar halls are equipped with sound systems as well as projection facilities to facilitate proper instruction and lectures. Teachers and students benefit from the facility to prepare presentation presentations, conduct interactive sessions, as well as guest lectures.
Transport
Ganesh College of Engineering operates bus services for faculties and students that cover a 100km of area in Salem, Namakkal, Cuddalore districts. All students have transportation facilities. The Bus Drivers are all trained and have over 10 years experience in driving. Students of the Hostel at Ganesh college of engineering are able to take advantage of College Buses, which operated in regular routes , they return home from the college.
