Gautam Buddha University was founded in 2000, located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh The campus is spread area of 511 acres. The campus is fully funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the undertakings of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. 

Accreditation and Ranking

Gautam Buddha University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), accredited by NAAC with B+ Grade, and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.

Residential Accommodations:

The campus affords hostels to all students (both - boys and girls). There are 18 hostels functioning below the Gautam Buddha University campus. Regular preservation work is achieved withinside the campus annually for the correct preservation of the hostels.

Library: 

The campus has a Central Library with approximately 47200+ books and a seating potential of approximately 2000 college students. The library is well-equipped with journals, magazines, ebooks, books, and many more.

Auditorium:

The campus has 11 auditoriums with a seating capability of 3000 college students, out of which 9 are IT-enabled auditoriums. There are 16 convention rooms for organizing workshops, seminars, events, etc.

Labs: 

The campus has properly-equipped modernized computer labs with the latest technology and software.

Medical Facilities:

Medical facilities are to be had for the scholars and staff. Doctors and nurses are to be had withinside the medical center.

Sports Facilities:

The sports and games facilities on the campus include: - Synthetic Lawn-Tennis courts with floodlight 04 Nos, Soccer cum track, and field, National Level Cricket Stadium with a pavilion of sitting approx. 65o persons, Indoor Stadium with facilities of 08 Badminton Courts, 01 Basketball Court, 02 Squash Courts and many more. Indore Stadium has a Centre Playing Area of 20 x 40 m. with PVC approved Sports Flooring, Seating Capacity- of 2000 persons.

The cafeteria is part of the University's campus, so students and staff can easily access it. All dining areas are equipped with free wireless internet. Admission

Admission to the University is done either based on merit or entrance exams. Students have to appear for the entrance exams GPTU, GPT, and GPTR conducted by the University. The University also accepts admission through national-level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, GMAT, CLAT, CMAT, XAT, SET, NET, JRF, etc.
