G. B. Pant DSEU Okhla-III Campus formerly known as G. B. Pant Institute of Technology, a premier Institute of Govt. of NCT of Delhi has been playing a vital role in the field of Technical Education. The Institute had a standing of 55 years as it was established in 1961, and was renamed after the renowned freedom fighter Sh. Govind Ballabh Pant.

The Institute is spread over a plot area of 20.25 acres. It consists of spacious academic complexes, residential quarters, workshops, a library, educational facilities with ICT equipment, and a playfield with a green area. The Institute has 5 academic departments, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Production and Automobile.

Apart from academic activities, co-curricular activities, Sports, cultural, and social service activities form an integral part of the Institute. The students get full opportunity to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities leading to holistic personality development. We promote faculty Development Programmes, Seminars, workshops, and conferences with the intention to brace themselves with the latest development and challenges in their respective fields.

Courses offered: 

G. B. Pant Institute of Technology has BE BTech-Bachelor of Engineering or Technology-CE-Civil Engineering, CS-Computer, EEE-Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ME-Mechanical Engineering, under Diploma courses, G. B. Pant Institute of Technology offers full-time Diploma courses in Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, and Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The duration of these programmes is 3 years each and the total number of seats available for admission is 423. The institute also offers part-time Diploma courses that have a duration of 4 years each with a total intake of 189.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

The college has many facilities created for the welfare of the students. These facilities help in making the studies easier for the students.

Wi-Fi: 

The campus is completely covered with Wi-Fi. The students are able to access the internet on the given computers as well as on their personal devices.

EDUSAT: 

The institute connects with the EDUSAT satellite of India to connect with experts across India. The institute is a Satellite Interactive Terminal (SIT) for the satellite. Also, the students can attend to experts in different parts of the country one after the other. This removes the limitation of the unavailability of experts due to geographical difficulties. 

Library: 

Established in 1963, the library provides a total of 50,000 documents. There are various journals from the industry, 24 magazines, 9 newspapers, 10296 titles, and 52596 books. Students can avail up to 3 books for 15 days. Some of the other facilities given by the college are the canteen, solar power, and Sports.

Faculty

The institute imparts education with strong practical-based foundations with 5 Heads of Departments and 26 lecturers. The institute also invites guest lecturers, and industrial experts to impart current and new technologies.

Scholarship

GB Pant Institute of Technology provides scholarships, concessions, or permits to the students. Students from SC/ST category are given SC/ST scholarship and study aid. The institute also gives tuition fee concessions to girl students. Students are provided concessional bus passes through the Delhi Transport Corporation. All meritorious students are awarded scholarships for the last 10 months of the final year of education.
