His life is a stellar example of how a true Gandhian would lead his life, spurning all worldly pleasures and giving away all that he owned to society at large. He established 68 educational institutions in rural and backward areas in this district with an emphasis on girl education; and donated 1800 acres of land for the cause of society.  He considered the “Right education” as the key to peace and prosperity. The College has been playing a pivotal role in imparting higher education to the students of nearly 20 villages in and around Ganapavaram since its inception.
