The Govt. Degree College, Rampachodavaram is located near the river "GODAVARI" in the village of Rampachodavaramwhich is 56 km away from the town of Rajahmundry in East Godavari Dist. It is a tribal area greenish and surrounded by the Eastern Ghats. The area is popularly known as the agency area in Andhra Pradesh. With an assurance from the committee for acquiring 10 acres of land for the construction of buildings, the Govt. granted the authorization to create the college.
