About Government Degree College, Tadipatri

The college shifted to the newly constructed own building on the southern outskirts of the Town in June 2001. The B.Sc., courses were started in the academic year 1992 - 1993 to meet the changing needs and demands of the younger generation. The Government of Andhra Pradesh with great foresight introduced self-funding courses in B.Com. (Computer Applications) in 2001-2002 and B. Sc (Computer Science) in 2003-2004.

Residential Accommodation

The hostel is on campus. There are 32 living rooms which can accommodate 5 students in each room, provided with a writing table, chair and a cupboard. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms and sinks with running water. There are two dining halls and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also in campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates

The Library

Government Degree College. Tadipatri has its excellently equipped library housed in a second-storeyed building. It is adequately ventilated and furnished with a congenial academic ambience. Computer Lab

The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.
