The college is established in the year 2008 wide G.O.Ms. No. 209.
The college is affiliated with Andhra University in the same year. Four courses are running in this college. The college caters to the needs of local people mostly belonging to backward communities. The college imparts training for academically backward students through tutorials and special classes. NSS was established in this college in July 2014. Community service and cultural events are conducted through NSS. Blood donation camps are organized every year. Special camps are conducted in adopted villages.

The treasury of books and periodicals - is the centre of intellectual activity in any institution. The Central Library works for its readers with a concern for creativity and innovation, predecessors of Research and Development. It has a well-equipped library that accumulates over 10,000 volumes of selected books in various engineering, management, and basic and general science subjects.
Canteen
It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way which suits the pockets of the student. It is speckless and maintained very well.
