Facilities and Infrastructure

The College library is fully equipped with modern document archival and duplication machines and it is being successfully managed by a Chief Librarian along with seven library assistants. Over 1500 video lectures pertaining to various topics of engineering and management, 120 simulations of Physics and Mathematics, 200 applications of engineering, and over 640 e-books are available in the library which also has a huge data bank of emerging minor and major projects for the benefit of students and faculty. E-Library also assists students in placement by providing a rich resource on corporate data banks, corporate-specific HR and technical questionnaires, modules on Personality Development, Aptitude, and Verbal and nonverbal reasoning. The book bank facility is offered to all students wherein six books are given for the entire semester. In addition, students can take additional books as referred by the faculty. The Library also subscribes to DELNET and INDEST so that students can refer to international journals.

The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe, and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls. The rooms are well furnished. GIES has 4(four) ladies' hostels accommodating 1400 (one thousand four hundred) and above borders and 7(seven) boys' hostels with 2500 and above borders. Both the hostels have round-the-clock Wi-Fi connectivity and medical facility. Proper hygienic conditions and strict supervision are maintained throughout.

The college has sports facilities for all students.
