Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline.
• The candidate must have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
• B.Sc./B.Com./BA (50% for general category and 45% for reserved category) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or graduation level with additional bridge course as may be decided by the competent authority
• Candidates who have appeared in the final year examination can also apply.

• Total number of seats available is 120 at this institute.
• Allocation of seats to Management Quota and Reserved Categories
• Allocation for Management Quota, state University quota, and SC, ST, SEBC, etc. categories will be as per the rules of the University/ACPC prevailing at the time of admissions.

Admission Procedure 

Entrance

Admission to the MCA program is given based on the CMAT conducted by AICTE. The test as of now comprises multiple choice objective questions in the areas of Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. Around 100 questions will have to be answered in 3 hours. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted. Candidates may refer to any book on IQ tests and Aptitude tests to prepare for the entrance test. There is no oral interview or group discussions.

Admission to the MBA program is through the CMAT examination followed by the centralized admission process through the Government of Gujarat appointed admission committee.
