LIBRARY:

The college library functions with the objective of providing quality service to its members and promoting excellence in education by housing several latest edition books, journals, monographs, magazines, etc. Library resources are available to encourage research, engage students in pleasure reading, support the curriculum, and address individual needs and interests. The college has a Main Library and 08 departmental libraries that collectively support the teaching, research, and extension programs. The library stays purposeful on all running days from 7:30 a.m. in the morning until 5:30 p.m. in the evening. The college library has a spacious reading room which is adequately lighted and contains furnishings appropriate to the student population. It homes over 1, 11,955 books titles, and subscribes to seventy-two Journals/periodicals and 14 newspapers in 3 languages. Girls Hostel:

The Girl's hostel is a two-story building situated on the banks of the Susari and Gomai rivers with an occupancy of 410 girls. In order to increase the access of female students, the college provides counseling, permission to pay fees through installments, guidance regarding various government scholarships, sufficient hostel accommodations, and various financial aids to almost all desirous girl students. Besides this, the college has adopted the following strategies to increase the access of women students

Boys Hostel

hostel for boys and an Eklavya Hostel for ST students. These hostels are constructed adjoining the college building. Elaborate arrangements have been made in the hostel to provide academically conducive, safe, secure, and above all economically affordable accommodation with a homely ambiance. The boy's hostel is a two-storied building having 75 rooms with a capacity of 225 boys. Eklavya Hostel is exclusively constructed for economically poor and underprivileged tribal students with 30 rooms and occupancy of 60 students. The hostel students interested in sports may avail all the facilities in the college playground. The residents can participate in any of the activity of sports within college hours, on holidays also with the prior permission of the college authorities. Yoga is also practiced outside the auditorium.

AUDITORIUM HALL:

The College is adorned with a multi-practical 800 seating potential Mahatma Gandhi Hall which serves as a not unusual place platform for accomplishing workshops/ seminars/ talks/ visitor lectures in any respect levels. The College conducts Sports Meet and encourages students to participate in the Inter-Collegiate events. In addition to team games, individuals have excelled in College and University level sport events. We are the recipients of the Gymkhana Day Trophy and have secured fourth position among the Top Ten Colleges for four consecutive years (2011-14). The college has also hosted inter-group sports events in 2012.
