Residential Accommodation
GIET offers separate boarding services for boys and girls. Both hostels on campus are well run and maintained in a very well-organized manner with dedicated staff and close supervision. Spacious living rooms with en-suite bathrooms and carefully laid out gleaming tiled floors ensure a truly comfortable stay. Impeccable dining rooms and kitchens with strict hygiene standards complement each other to ensure prisoners a healthy and reassuring dining experience. Hostels also provide space and facilities for entertainment, fitness, and the pursuit of personal hobbies.
The Library
A well-stocked, media-rich library is yet another remarkable feature of GIET, like nowhere in top private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. A lot of time, effort and financial resources have gone into developing the library so that it leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to hosting a large collection of volumes related to different engineering strandseducational, the Library subscribes to more than 400 prestigious national and international journals. The library has an exclusive reading room and an audiovisual section.
Computer Lab
Today's requirement is computer training. Our computer lab has 49 systems and continuously provides knowledge and experience to our students. The lab is also open after school hours, allowing interested students to practice and become masters of computer operations. Students use the Internet function to download and prepare teaching tutorials and use the network for PowerPoint preparation.
Canteen
GIET students and staff do not need to venture outside the college to refresh themselves. The cafeteria on the nearby campus serves delicious things although visitors can indulge in a freewheeling stroll. The kitchen is elegant, the servers are courteous and the place is very popular with students and staff.
Games and Gymnasium
There is a provision for a gym and some indoor games items are available for the students. There is a period allotted to them, group wise and they utilize this gym as most of the students these days try to keep their body fit with some light exercises. So this place is very helpful for the students in maintaining a good physique and helps in having a sound mind and healthy body.
Transportation
A fleet of College-owned buses is run for the conveyance of day scholars in and around the places and villages surrounding Rajahmundry. The buses are put through a strict and periodic inspection to ensure they are in good condition and the drivers are subject to a strict safety code of conduct
