Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Pharmacy was instituted by Gokaraju Rangaraju Educational Society (GRES) in 2003. GRCP creates an environment that opens up new worlds of opportunity. Scholarships are given based on the ranks that students have got in the EAMCET examination. Scholarships are also varied based on the caste of the student. SC and ST have the most scholarships given and OC are least prioritised.

Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Pharmacy offers admission to many undergraduate (B.Pharmacy) and postgraduate (M.Pharmacy) courses in various areas. Admission to the undergraduate course will be done through the EAMCET examination while for postgraduate courses candidates have to appear for GPAT/APPGECET examinations. The detailed admission process is given below:
For Undergraduate Courses (B.Pharmacy):
First-year
a) A pass at the Intermediate Examination of Telangana State Intermediate Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology or equivalent.
b) Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (EAMCET) conducted by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad.
70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET.
30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
Second year (Lateral Admission)
a) A pass at D. Pharmacy course (ER-91) with I class.
b) Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (E-CET) conducted by Telangana State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad
For Postgraduate Courses (M.Pharmacy):
First-year
1) A pass at the B. Pharm degree examination of Osmania University or any other examination recognized by Osmania University as equivalent here too and passed the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) Examination.
2) Vacancies remaining after allotment of seats to GPAT-qualified candidates are open to candidates who have passed the B. Pharm degree Examination of Osmania University or any other examination equivalent thereto with minimum 55% aggregate marks and passed the entrance examination as prescribed by Osmania Examination (TSPGECET).
70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the GPAT/ TSPGECET.
30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
