Gomatesh Polytechnic is run by Gomatesh Vidyapeeth, which is established and founded in the year 1960 by the late H.H. Gomatesh Polytechnic College, Belgaum was established in 1960 and started to get transformed in 1982. Earlier, it started with a diploma in creative disciplines with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Further in the year 1985 and 1989, Likewise, many specializations got added in the proceeding years and currently, it offers around 10 specializations. Placements are provided to about 70% of the students every year.
