After the partition, the college became shifted to Jalandhar in December 1947. The College commenced with a B.T diploma with 87 boys and seven ladies on a roll. O.T was commenced in 1957 and J.B.T in 1962. The Integrated B.E d route began from 1966 onwards. As an end result of growing demand, M.E d became commenced in 1955.
