Government First Grade College H D Kote was started in the year 1985 in a small building in the town later it built a building on a 7.26-acre campus. In the year 2011, the college started with a new building and now the college has a total of 15 rooms with an office of its own in the 202 Sq Mtr Area. Our college is 57 Km Away from Mysore it is located on the state highway of Mysore to Manandavadi. Still, colleges have not been recognized under 12(b) and 2 (f) of UGC. The college has not yet accredited by NAAC and we are submitted SSR to NAAC in the month of March.

Our college is located 57 km from Mysore on the Mysore-Manandavadi National Road. Despite this, the colleges were not recognized under Sections 12(b) and 2(f) of the UGC. The college has not yet been accredited by the NAAC and we received an SSR from the NAAC in March.
